Returned it the same day that I bought it. Tried it out using 2 different hair products that have always worked well with other flat irons, but it still managed to burn my ends. Also it’s a little heavy, and couldn’t imagine using it without it tiring my arm quickly, plus it’s not comfortable to hold in my hands, didn’t care for the shape of it. I will spend more money to get a better product.

There have been few times in my life that I have been as happy with a purchase. I began the search for a flat iron several months ago, but could not afford the “good” ones. I, too, saw this recommended in Good Housekeeping, and after reading the reviews here on Amazon, decided to buy it. I live 10 minutes from the ocean and have a daily fight with frizzy hair. I am not exaggerating when I say I can use this flat iron one day, and the next day my hair is still soft and straight. The Remington heats in one minute–to the temp you choose–and leaves your hair soft as silk. Like anything, read the directions and don’t abuse it.

I bought this flat iron after seeing its review in Good Housekeeping. It really lives up to its positive review.
